Osong Medical Innovation Foundation (KBIOHealth) in Korea opened its JAPAN OFFICE at Shonan iPark

iPark Institute Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Fujisawa City, Kanagawa, Japan; CEO: Toshio Fujimoto; hereinafter “iPark Institute”) and Osong Medical Innovation Foundation (hereinafter referred to as “KBIOHealth”) in South Korea (Headquarters: Cheongju City, North Chungcheong Province; Chairman & CEO: Sang-hoon Cha) have established the operation sites in the both facilities and started personnel exchanges this spring, building on a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed in January this year.

Following the opening ceremony held on March 15 (https://www.shonan-ipark.com/en/news/1540/) for the establishment of the iPark office in KBIOHealth, another opening ceremony was held for the KBIOHealth office in Shonan iPark yesterday. At the opening ceremony, Mr. Won-Chang Choi (최원찬), KBIOHealth’s Planning & Coordination Director, gave his remarks, stating his hope that the KBIOHealth JAPAN OFFICE located in Shonan iPark will serve as a base to support the bio-industry ecosystem in Japan and South Korea and that such bio ventures will develop in Asia and globally.
Toshio Fujimoto, CEO of iPark Institute, also expressed his hope during the same event that the partnership with KBIOHealth will foster the growth of industry and human resources, as well as introduce innovation from Asia to the rest of the world.

iPark Institute will continue to strive to achieve its mission, “Build a Life Science Ecosystem that is Open to the World” through the collaboration with KBIOHealth.
