The first K-Venture Partnering Conference:
The promotion of collaborative research and development between South Korean ventures and Japanese life science companies.
Approximately 40 South Korean ventures, selected by a government organization, will gather at Shonan iPark. The event will facilitate face-to-face interactions with Japanese life science companies, aiming to promote collaborative research and development.
iPark Institute Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Fujisawa City, Kanagawa Prefecture; President: Toshio Fujimoto; hereinafter known as “iPark Institute”) will host the “K-Venture Partnering Conference” on February 18 for the first time. The event is being co-organized with the South Korean Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Osong Medical Innovation Foundation, (KBIOHealth).
iPark Institute has signed a significant business agreement with the South Korean Ministry of SMEs and Startups (for details, refer to the November 2023 press release) and a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with KBIOHealth to promote collaboration in the bio-healthcare sector (for details, refer to the January 2024 press release). This event aims to foster interaction between the South Korean ventures, selected by the two South Korean organizations, and Japanese life science companies, with the goal of cultivating opportunities for joint research and development.
The program will include a poster session by South Korean ventures, 5-minute pitch presentations from each participating company, and a pre-registration system for individual partnering to facilitate a more targeted and productive matchmaking.
