Asahi Kasei Pharma to Join Shonan Health Innovation Park

We are pleased to announce that Asahi Kasei Pharma Corporation (hereinafter “Asahi Kasei Pharma”) has decided to relocate its research and development base to Shonan Health Innovation Park (hereinafter “Shonan iPark”).
This relocation is aimed at optimizing Asahi Kasei Pharma’s global R&D functions and further promoting open innovation. The company plans to move in January 2027. iPark Institute Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “iPark Institute”) warmly welcomes Asahi Kasei Pharma and expects its presence to further enhance and expand the Shonan iPark ecosystem.
Shonan iPark is currently home to about 190 companies and more than 2,500 people (as of November, 2025), forming a vibrant ecosystem. We will continue to accelerate open innovation among pharmaceutical companies, next-generation medicine, cell agriculture, AI, government and other diverse partners, driving the social implementation of groundbreaking ideas.
